New Jersey Fall Run Bunker Blitz Madness BIG STRIPERS!!
Made the drive down to NJ to boat fish with Brennan and Dave for a couple days hoping to find some big bass feeding on bunker. It would turn out to be some of the best striper fishing Ive seen, and somehow with almost no other boats around. I was snagging and dropping bunker casting circle hooks into the schools. It works fine. I would rather be throwing a surface plug like you were doing.

Boaters were being a big nuisance earlier this month in the quiet brackish waters buddies and I were catching stripers at. They were getting their boats right on top of the stripers less than a block away from where I was casting. I was seeing stripers sometimes busting in areas only boats had access to, but these guys still came close in.

Holy crap. Awesome fish! 49 is a giant these days. It's wild to think that 60-75lb stripers used to be common in NC. We really screwed that one up.
Just goes to show its not about the gear you have but how you use it you guys beat the balls off them 🔥🎣
SOOO many asshammers on the salt, especially when on the boat. I had a guy in a 42’ steam right past me throwing a 4’ wake while I was drifting and into a nice fish. Nearly knocked me over and shifted everything on the boat. Guy just kept on going, it’s always an adventure out there lol.
